Press Statement - Government Meets 100,000k testing target

Please see below a short statement from BIVDA Chief Executive Doris-Ann Williams regarding the Government’s meeting of it’s testing target.

“I am delighted that the Government has reached its target of 100,000 tests a day. This is a significant achievement by all involved, and I want to congratulate all BIVDA members, officials, health personnel and lab staff who have played a part in making this possible.

We are now well on the way to having the infrastructure to scale up testing even further, which will help us implement track and trace programmes. There are lessons to be learned, but we are now in a good place going forward.”
