Clearly in vitro diagnostic tests are a critical part of the management of this outbreak of COVID-19 and the IVD industry will be supporting the UK public health authorities and the NHS to ensure there is appropriate testing for our population. Update from DHSC on border and supply plans for after the Transition Period
The Department of
Health and Social Care (DHSC) has circulated a letter from Chief
Commercial Office Steve Oldfield that outlines the plans and preparations for
border arrangements and supplies after the Transition Period.
The letter advises that, over the coming months,
traders may be contacted by HMRC as part of its campaign to support and assist
trader readiness in anticipation of the change to customs and border procedures
on 1 January 2021. A webinar on these plans and preparations for after 31st December
will be held on the 11th August from 10am to 11am, please
